  • 1.This is the third revision of the album of NOTHING IS ... -listing 91 above. Liner notes by Russ Musto.
  • 2.This edition expands the material to a second CD and changes the track order again, asserting that the double CD contains "the entire 70-minute first set... from which the original album was culled" plus a partial second set and rehearsal material, including "over 90 minutes of additional material". The exact split between the two sets and the rehearsal / soundcheck material is not detailed. The alternate versions of tracks such as Velvet and The Exotic Forest must come from rehearsals or different concerts - Sun Ra would not repeat such a piece during a show.
  • 3.Some of the tracks newly added are confusingly named:
  • Interpolation is a version of Song Of The Sparer
  • Advice To Medics is a version of Third Planet
  • Interplanetary Chaos (4:35) is the opening section of Outer Nothingnesss (15:43) from the expanded CD edition of NOTHING IS (ESP 4024, listing 91.)

The remaining section of Outer Nothingness does not appear to be included on this otherwise more complete edition.

  • 4.See listing 91 for more details of the original release of this music.
