1. A monaural LP issued in 1966. The matrix numbers are B-711 A, B-711B. ("BP" and "Saturn" are also written in the dead wax.)

2. A stereo version of the LP was also issued on Saturn, with the matrix numbers 711-A ,711-B. ("I-GB" and "stereo El Saturn" are also written in the dead wax.) This version has a shorter title track - the final horn ensemble is omitted.

3. All physical reissues to date (Impulse, Evidence) include the monaural Saturn version of the title track, and partial stereo of the side B tracks.. The stereo versions of all tracks are included in the Anderson & Chusid download reissue.

4. The Impulse reissue gives a wrong recording date - 1960.

5. The Saturn LP sleeve gives detailed information on soloists and instrumentation.

6. The artwork of the Impulse jacket was the inspiration for the pages 129/130 in Hartmut Geerken's book "Obduktionsprotokoll".
